(Leaving the UK)

For individuals needing to travel during the COVID-19 pandemic some overseas destinations have imposed strict requirements for a negative COVID-19 PCR swab test result before travel. Typically a negative result is required 24 hours before leaving the UK.

When choosing a COVID-19 PCR appointment check carefully how many hours before departure, or arrival in the destination country you are required to have a negative COVID-19 PCR swab test result. For example, if you are due to travel on Saturday at 10:30am and are required to have a negative PCR swab test result 24 hours before departure you should book your appointment after 10:30am on the previous Wednesday. If you need guidance, the UK government travel advice website provides detailed country entry requirement information at www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice.

You will receive a unique reference number upon confirmation of your online payment.
